We had such a great Christmas this year! It was so much more simple than in years past and it made all the difference for me. I was not stressed out one bit! I think that I will continue in this tradition from here on out. We had fun at the zoo on Christmas Eve with the Black side of the family. We missed all those Blacks that are far away! We then spent the evening with the McBride side of the family and I failed to take pictures of the Nativity (Jake, we used the same script that you wrote for last year because it is so great! We missed you guys too!). I'm hoping someone will forward some to me! We sang carols and ate a feast, then all the kids opened their jammies from G-pa and G-ma. We then made the trek home to await Santa's arrival.

Kind of a dark picture, but cute of the boys and very cool of the cheetah that was pacing and staring us down.

It was so fun to watch Grace at the zoo this year. Despite the freezing cold, she loved all the animals. Here she is looking at the monkeys with G-pa Black.

This Giraffe was eating a pine tree! Wouldn't that hurt going down?

Christmas Eve at the Zoo! I just have to say that it was soooooo cold!!!

Traditional Black family stair picture, just before they go up to see the goods!

Kanon wearing his favorite gift on his head along with the MLS 2009 champion's team pennant.

Joseph with a few of his favorites!

Adam and his prized skateboard and helmet

Ian's main present that he wanted from Santa, was this lego starwars tiefighter ship and the little lego Darth Vader to go with it. It was done the day after Christmas

Here is the cutest little girl with her baby stroller from Santa and cute outfit from Grandma. She has fun pushing her babies around in the stroller pretty much everyday.
