Ian turned 7 this past summer. He requested a swimming pool cake. He did take swimming lessons this summer, therefore..... the cake! We made the diving board and the lifeguard stand out of legos (Ian is a lego lover). He added some lego guys swimming in the pool and they are doing all sorts of swimming strokes. As you can see from the cute look on his face, that he did approve of the cake.
The main thing that he wanted was the new Pirates of the Carribean wii lego game and he got it!

A big event for Ian this past summer, was the accomplishment of finishing his first chapter book! He has come a long way with his reading over the past several months and we couldn't be more proud of him.
Ian is a wonderful kid! He is an excellent soccer player and is a great brother. He is very creative and spends lots of time with his legos and with his art. He has drawn some pretty awesome pictures and they have hung on our fridge for all to see. He loves playing with his friends and is always on the go! Man I wish I had half of his energy. We love Ian and are so glad he is ours.

Still cannot believe that these kiddos of ours keep getting so big, so fast.
I remember having Ian come to preschool with Abbie- feels like it was just last year!
