Cute Ian

I just have to share some of the cute things that Ian has said over the last couple of days. I love the innocence of children and their view of the world.

Grandma McBride did a little Easter lesson about Jesus. She handed Ian a nail and asked him if he knew what a nail had to do with Jesus and Easter. After being in deep thought for a minute he answered,"Jesus is so nice, that he probably gave lots of nails to people so that they could build Easter decorations with them". He knows the real meaning and shortly after remembered. The second is when we were eating dinner the other night, and he helped himself to some cantelope and then passed the bowl down to the next person asking them if they "would like to have some envelopes". The last was yesterday I stopped at the gas station to fill up the tank. As I was doing so, Ian hopped out of the car and wanted to know how it all worked. I explained that the gasoline comes through the pump and when I hold the lever it goes into the car so the car can go. With that "I'm in deep thought" look, he said "How do you get all that gas from peoples bodies?"
