We love going and chopping down our own Christmas tree. This is the 3rd year in a row. We go up by Heber and with a permit of course, hike around in the snow and sometimes mud to get the perfect tree. This year with a little baby, I could not go down the deep ravine all the way, but I sat on a log with the sunshine and it was beautiful. The boys went further and all took turns sawing it down. This last Monday we put it up and the boys had fun decorating it. Kanon even helped with the lights this year. I love when the ornament box gets opened and the excitement of remembering Christmas' past begins.
